= I think this type of train causes less pollution than steam engines because burning of coal in steam engines produces more carbon dioxide than that of diesel engine.

= I think we see trees and houses rush past in the opposite direction when we are in a train because the train approaches in forward direction. So the still trees and houses seem to rush past in the opposite direction.



8. Why are electric trains not seen everywhere even though they pollute less?


= Electric trains are not seen everywhere even though they pollute less because building and running electric trains can be quite expensive.
